Italy – interactive funicular map. Inclined cable-hauled lines, cliff railways and counterbalanced funicular routes from OpenStreetMap contributors.
Italy – funicular railways drawn from data mapped by OpenStreetMap contributors: cable-hauled lines on steep gradients, often linking waterfronts to hilltop towns, mountain resorts or urban districts. Funiculars use two cars counterbalancing each other on a single track with a passing loop, or a single car on a slope-hauled cable. At low zoom, routes appear as centroid points; zoom in for full line geometry.
Italy – 298 mapped funicular segments.
Download a printable Italy funicular map: the export saves every funicular as a PNG up to A0 at 300 DPI, in a line colour you pick. Paid exports can also be cropped exactly to the Italy border. Free exports carry a watermark; an Export Pass removes it. Italy rail data is also available as GeoPackage or Shapefile.
