Germany – interactive funicular map. Inclined cable-hauled lines, cliff railways and counterbalanced funicular routes from OpenStreetMap contributors.
Germany – funicular railways drawn from data mapped by OpenStreetMap contributors: cable-hauled lines on steep gradients, often linking waterfronts to hilltop towns, mountain resorts or urban districts. Funiculars use two cars counterbalancing each other on a single track with a passing loop, or a single car on a slope-hauled cable. At low zoom, routes appear as centroid points; zoom in for full line geometry.
Germany – 166 mapped funicular segments. Also mapped: 3 segments under construction.
Download a printable Germany funicular map: the export saves every funicular as a PNG up to A0 at 300 DPI, in a line colour you pick. Paid exports can also be cropped exactly to the Germany border. Free exports carry a watermark; an Export Pass removes it. Germany rail data is also available as GeoPackage or Shapefile.
